Was impressed, because we were able to come back from being around 13. Was more impressed how Adelman put Kyle instead of AB for the rest of the 4th. Lowry>AB
Although I would have rather won this game than have a moral victory, I must only be satisfied with the moral victory considering.... a) Many times it looked as though some of our players didn't know what to do next, with not having fixed plays when Artest takes over any sort of team game goes out the door. b) Our strongest Point Guard Lowry is still learning his role in the team concept. d) Both Brookes and Von Wafer were having sub par games tonight e) No Tracy McGrady f) We played last night and Utah was well rested g) Utah was playing at home h) A little too much Artest and not enough Scola and Landry i) What is Battier doing on the court- now I can't even see his intangibles! Barry would be just as effective and is a better athlete j) Our Free Throw performance was below Development League standard. k) The Refs called several Utah flops as fouls
I'm not impressed at all. The Rockets were a Kyle Lowery away from being blown out before the 4th quarter even started. Other than Lowry I saw a lot of guys taking what the Jazz defense gave them. You don't win in Utah that way. Honestly, if these guys are not going to dictate the tempo of the game then at least respond when the Jazz start getting physical. Someone, anyone in a Rockets uniform please find a Jazz player and put him on the court....hard. This Rocket team is setting some kind of record for a team being bullied and not responding. Rick Adelman, pick up a technical foul, Tru Warrier give someone a hard, playoff-style foul, Carl Landry accidentally elbow Boozer when he grabs your jersey and slings you around the court.
Nice effort. I was also impressed by the team's effort in last year's playoffs. They lost in the 1st round.
I wasnt impressed at all...Does not being blown out mean you played with good effort? A loss is a loss. At no point did i feel like we deserved to win the game. The Jazz outplayed us, especially in crunch time.
