usage rate is BS you have to watch the game look at who touches the ball every play or who stands in the corner... and shot attempts are whats most important if you want to look at usage.
They're both playing for better coaches now. Especially Dragic. How many times did they have to bail out McHale for running any type of plays? More than I can remember.
Dragic and Lowry numbers would go down being that Harden and Howard are the first option. Chandler is the second option. If we put Lin on the Suns or Toronto team his stats would explode.
Please go troll somewhere else. Now, back to the topic at hand... I don't know about everyone else, but there's always a soft spot in my heart for (most) former Rockets players, at least for those who gave their all. For anyone interested, I came across this article the other day about Lowry that I thought was pretty cool. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nba/news/20140117/toronto-raptors-kyle-lowry-masai-ujiri/
with the way morey finds starting caliber pg's out of siberia and such, i don't see him placing a high priority on the position needing to be at the all-star level. of course, if a guy like cp3 comes along, you do what you can to get him. and with harden and howard on this team, i would think cp3 would be the only one out of the 3 that you mentioned that morey would mortage the future for. the other two would just take too much away from harden - they're both high scoring pg's that are mediocre at best on D. put next to harden and dwight and parsons, there isn't enough shots to maximize everyone's abilities and no one is happy.
Great comment. It is hilarious to see some "true" Rox fans whining and moaning two players who are playing for other teams. Reality is: Lowry couldn't wait to get out of the Houston two years ago and Dragic chose a different team which gave him a better offer and flexibility to get out of contracts earlier so he could get a even bigger contract. Bottom line: they chose to leave the Rox for their own benefits. Good decisions! They made smart choices and they are both due for a big contract. And may I ask what's these two heroes' legacy in Houston? If I haven't followed Rox for all these years and only read comments left from "true" Rox fans, I would have thought Rox let go two key members of championship squad. However, in reality, these two all-star PG did leave Rox nothing but some 14th lottery picks. Big achievement. I refuse to believe some "true" Rox fans' IQ are that low, or maybe they just have an agenda.
Exactly. Dragic's love of money preceded his love of Rockets. He was a good emerging player, but **** him.
Looking for a 3rd but let one of them just walk due to a players option.... If this team doesn't develop Parsons and stick with him (unless they get Love or some other big time player in return...) I will be pretty upset.
I am not upset that they left. Good on them, go get that money you feel you deserve. Life is too short not to capitalize on opportunities when they come knocking. As a ROCKETS fan though, I am ALWAYS upset to see good players leave.
Love Dragic's game but I'm not compromising my cap flexibility in 2015 for any PG short of CP3/Rose. Point guards are practically raining from the sky right now.
I understand why we lost Lowry and Dragic. There is logic and then, there is emotion. I understand why, but my heart doesn't care. We lost great players and I am upset about it no matter what the reason.
Nope, just human. I'm even like this in fantasy. Once I drop somebody, I avoid checking in on them at all costs, just in case they happen to be blowing up on somebody else's team. LOL.
Even while Rose was good, dude was the most manufactured star (courtesy of Adidas...) that this league has ever seen.
