    Yep, Suns (sweeeeep!) then Spurs.

Although DoD's Heat logic is enticing. :)

Go Suns. Usually I am a loyal Texan, but I just dislike the Mavs too much. The Sonics are going to get really whooped by the Spurs. Should be a Spurs-Suns final, with the Spurs on top. I am picking a Detroit-Heat finals in the east and a Spurs-Heat finals. Spurs will win it all. Why watch, the Rockets aren't playing.

I'm going to watch the Indiana vs. Detroit series and root for the Pacers.

Other than that, I think that I'll pass.

What I hope for now: A sweep of the Mavs by the Suns followed by a sweep of the Suns by the Spurs. After that, I don't really care who will win the NBA championship.

I will be cheering for the Suns too.

I am also hoping to watch Miami vs. Detroit. That should be a bruising series.

well since i pretty much live for the 7 or 8 weeks or so of the nba playoffs every year, yes i will. it sucks that we lost, but i can't stop watching.

i'll pass on the heat/wash series and probably only pay passing attention to the detroit/indy series simply b/c neither will be competitive. if i hadn't just seen the mavs be the whiniest little flopping b****es ever, i'd really love this mavs/suns series. now, i'll still enjoy the scoring, but it'll have that "i hate one team so watch them somehow do well" angle to it. and i hope the suns kill them. spurs/sonics could be nice but SA is going to win.

what i really wanna see is miami/detroit and SA/phoenix. well, actually i'd really like to see miami, detroit, and sa all get knocked out, but since they won't, i'll just plan for the great series these 4 teams should have. detroit and miami matches up two teams i hate so i'll at least get to celebrate one of them being gone. either shaq gets a little of the luster knocked off or the fluke champions stop getting sucked off. unfortunately, though, one has to advance. and if SA and phoenix can play 7 games like that OT game they played earlier, i'll be in heaven. hopefully the suns win and then win it all. they're the only team left that i like.

Yes I will watch the Mavs & Suns series as long as they don't mention Steve & Dirk splitting up and now being enemies throughout the games.

I have no real interest in watching the Spurs mow down the Sonics. Same goes for Heat v. Wizards. I would normally watch the Pacers & Pistons especially since it is Reggie Miller's final games as a guess and he is one of the few non-Rockets I've always enjoyed watching play basketball especially in the playoffs because he was such a ruthless shooter in the clutch. Unfortunately my guess is the beatdown from the media rehashing the brawl every single minute of the pregame, postgame, during the game, and highlights will likely cause me to not watch unless the audio is off. This talk of high drama in reality means a 100% chance of media beatdown especially if the series is close. I'll be rooting for the Pacers as the underdog but if they win the against all odds from the brawl thing will not go away either. Another turn off is the low scoring slugfest thing is cause for concern because it will likely be boring to anyone not affiliated with either team. Strangely enough I think the Pacers have the best shot out of the east of beating the Heat too which is another reason I'll be pulling for them.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see Stan Van Gundy win a ring and DWade is fun to watch, but Shaq has been such a big baby with the Kobe feud so I don't know if I can handle more of the "I told you so" crap and bogus analogies that is likely to escape his mouth should the Heat win it all. The horse died a while back but he cannot stop beating it. NBA fans all know you dominate the league in ways Kobe cannot and that you aided his skills by drawing so much interest from the opposing defenses when you both were on the floor. Hell I think most of us knew that before you were traded so we have definitely gotten the picture by now. Kobe is a pompous jackass that drove away two championship winning coaches in a span of what 7 months?

As with every season I will watch the conference & NBA Finals schedule permitting regardless of how bad the officiating is, boring the style of basketball is, or any other negative factor like Bill Walton announcing the games without Snapper Jones to bust his chops for being off in space.

The team I'd most like to see win the title is probably Indiana even though they have no chance against the West champ even if they were to miraculously survive Detroit and the Shaq stopper (ok slower down/frustrator) Scot Pollard (B12 represent) plays above his head and they made it past the Heat as well.

Here is what I would LOVE to see:

Suns destroy the Mavericks (preferably a sweep), Spurs lose to the Sonics, and the East - eh who cares, I guess the Heat and Pistons to advance as their matchup would be the best one remaining in that conference.

But what will probably happen is the Suns have to go 7 to beat the f*cking Mavericks, the Spurs probably sweep the Sonics and then the Spurs handle the Suns. But if the Heat or Pistons can beat the Spurs - then it is all good. I just don't want to see either the Mavericks or Spurs winning it all.
