Bullard actually has been a lot better on the refs this season compared to past seasons. He does get pretty annoying sometimes. He jokes around way too much. There is even times when Worrell tries to ignore the really lame ones.

worrell's homerism gets on my nerves, and when he's with bullard they feed on eachother, clyde at least seems a little more cluey on fouls and "how it all works" because he's actually been in a position to know how it works, heh.

No, because he's usually right when he complains.

Bull is a great guy but sometimes thing like these do annoy me. I actually prefer Clyde over Bull I know Clyde provides nothing of actual basketball value while Bull does but Clyde is always laughing and smiling and having a good time. I like people with those sort of attitudes. Makes me laugh and take the game a bit better especially if the team is losing cuz nothing makes my mood better than a good laugh

Personally though I really wish they brought Van Chancellor back he was the best of both worlds, he southern accent and euphemisms made me laugh and he actually provided a lot of basketball insight too.

Those refs were way too deep in the crack pipe last night. Bull was properly offended. But it did make it that much more satisfying, to win 5-on-8 on the road.

Yoyo, YES! Van Chancellor was the best color we've had. I especially liked how he'd accurately call plays. Bull sometimes does that; VC did it routinely. Clyde, on the other hand...

You're kidding right? Did you see the refs not call the blatant hack against KMart on the fast break pull-up jumper at the end of the GS game? Did you see them review to see WHO WAS FOULED at the end of this game? Really? How f***ing low must your IQ be to not know who was fouled?

There's a reason that NBA refs are the only ones who are constantly questioned, not MLB or NFL refs. And we have evidence that they rig games too, so the constant criticism is not uncalled for. I'm glad Bull calls them out on their crap, since coaches and players can't.

I just read that they weren't checking to ses if he got fouled but were instead checking the clock. Still doesn't change my point, the refs have shown time and time again that they are biased and the rulebook can change on the fly, and that deserves all the criticism in the world.

The continuation on Baron Davis and then KMart on the next play doesn't get continuation even though he took NO dribbles? Really? It's clear they play favorites and are horrible at being neutral.

It's already been proven that many games have been fixed, that's why everyone complains about the terrible refs.

So then Tim Donaghy was right on the Money when he said NBA was fix during his NBA Referee career.

For all you young NBA fans who just started watching the NBA, here is a little something you guys missed over the couple of years, which makes me think that Refs are always or most of times, calling bad calls against the Rockets and it's just getting frustrated when it's so obvious like last nights game.

Ex-referee Tim Donaghy blows whistle on NBA dirty secrets
    By John Marzulli
    DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Murphy/GettyTim Donaghy, who pleaded guilty to charges of betting on games he officiated, is now airing NBA's dirty laundry. The bombshell allegations are in a court document filed Tuesday by Donaghy's lawyer that describes how NBA execs allegedly used referees to manipulate games.

Donaghy has pleaded guilty in Brooklyn Federal Court to betting on games he worked.

According to the document, he told FBI agents, "League officials would tell referees they should withhold calling technical fouls on certain star players because doing so hurt ticket sales and television ratings."

Donaghy claims he was told two refs who were "company men" acting in the interest of the NBA conspired to extend a playoff series in 2002 to a seventh game.

The referees allegedly ignored flagrant fouls committed by one team and "made up fouls" against the other team, which led to two of its players fouling out. The team favored by the refs won that game and the next to win the series.

The document does not name the teams, but the only series that went seven games that year was between the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Kings, leading the series 3 games to 2, were whistled for 31 fouls and the Lakers were called for 24. The Lakers outscored the Kings 34-18 at the foul line, winning that game and the next to take the series. The Lakers went on to sweep the Nets in the finals.

He also cites a referee's relationship with a team general manager allegedly leading to an attempt to influence the outcome of a game in 2004.

NBA Vice President Richard Buchanan said Donaghy's allegations are "part of his desperate attempt to lighten the sentence that will be imposed for his criminal conduct. The NBA remains vigilant in protecting the integrity of our game. . . . The only criminal activity uncovered is Mr. Donaghy's."

Donaghy also claimed that a supervising referee told refs than an unidentified NBA executive did not want them to call technical fouls on star players or boot them from the game.

Donaghy told the feds the league reprimanded a ref who disobeyed that edict in January 2000 by ejecting an unnamed star player from a game in the first quarter.

Lawyer John Lauro filed the four-page letter to Federal Judge Carol Amon because none of the information was included in the government's letter to the judge seeking leniency for Donaghy when he is sentenced next month.

Lauro has gone to war against Brooklyn federal prosecutors.

He's angry that the feds offered plea deals to Donaghy's betting accomplices that give them less jail time than the disgraced ex-ref, despite his extensive cooperation.

Donaghy claims referees have accepted autographs, merchandise and meals from team coaches and managers.

He told probers one referee used a team's practice facility to exercise and another played tennis regularly with an NBA coach.

"These activities were against NBA rules; indeed, such inappropriate relationships could influence the outcome of games," Lauro wrote.

Lauro said he withheld the names of the teams, referees and league officials because the feds may still investigate the allegations for possible fraud.

The NBA has responded to Donaghy taking his case public by recently demanding $1 million restitution from him for the cost of its internal investigation.
