Heck yeah, I need a center. The league is 20 person deep, and there isn't 20 good centers in the league. I'm starting Anderson Verejao and Mili Ilic for center. M-I-L-I I-L-I-C!!
I can't trade Foye right now, but midseason is another story. I like Aldridge. He's gonna have a nice year. Nice roster.
Hate to say it bro but thats why you gotta give up a bit more than your gonna get. Your desperate! How about Alston or Cassell for Chandler??
Also how do i set my teams. This is my first time playing Yahoo (i usaually play on nba.com) and on nba.com they show you who is playing and when so you can set your team each day. On yahoo do we just have to know which of our players are playing or what?? Whats the deal with setting the rosters on Yahoo?
You click and hold on the player (the blue box), then drag and drop him in the position you want. If that doesn't work, below the "Submit changes" box, there's an option for Classic controls.
You also gotta click on the "dates" on the top. You've got to set your roster "daily" rather than "weekly".
You do edit the team on a daily basis correct? You aren't locked in for the entire week? Top bar on the edit roster screen has clickable dates so you can manipulate the lineup on a daily basis. Chandler for Cassell or Alston? No dice. Id rather just hog all the centers.
Is the winner of each week the guy who wins the most categories or is it the guy who gets the most points overall? Ziggy - who do you want for Chandler then. IMO Reggie Evans will get almost 10 rebounds a game because dalembert is out for a little while. Chandler doesnt score either.
If anyone needs a center I am willing to part ways with Mutombo. His O-Rank is 189, so I'm looking for something comparable in return, position doesn't matter.
Ill revisit this early next month. I think Bynum might breakout, I am interested in both Brewer's, Garcia, Webster, but would like to see what their minutes will be.
Haha yeah, exactly.. Bynum = either Brewer or Garcia at this point.. All could very well break out.. A trade would be a lateral move on the most part. Thats the risk of trading "sleeper" picks. I'm hesitant to do so too but I need to rid of myself of SG and SFs for PGs or Cs. My sleepers (relative to pick position): Horford R. Brewer C. Brewer Garcia(big sleeper) Webster H. Armstrong Blatche I'm just hoping 2 of these will BREAK OUT. Then I would be very happy..
My lineup is so weak that I can't trade for a center without needing a replacement. Forgetting about the draft day hurt me as well (FA pickups). Even if 4 or 5 people flake out, this is looks to be an interesting league.
