Anybody want to ball before the season opener? [11/3]

I'll warn you guys, I play a very good Kenny Smith/Voshon Leonard/Chuck Person.

Leave me open in the corner and I'll kill ya. Anywhere else and I might as well be sitting on the bench.

 

there's a court at Memorial @ Waugh that I find to be okay to play at. the concrete can be a little slippery at times, but it is central and get regular games throughout the week.

Go to www.maps.google.com then copy and paste this address in: 3621 Willia St, Houston, TX. Park in the abandoned YWCA parking lot there and the covered court is down the hill.

I may try and go tomorrow, though likely closer to 10 am to be done by 1 pm.

Unless I'm mistaken there will be a shirt provided for every fan that is there by tip off. I think that basically means there will be a shirt on every seat.

As for playing tomorrow, I'm definitely planning to be there. Just take it easy on me. I can't wear my glasses on the court because they'll fly off and I'm out of contacts, so I play partially blind these days

 

Just keeping this thread alive. I'd like to see plenty of competition out there tomorrow.

this picture shows where the court is. the red circle is where you can park. the arrow pointing to that thing in the middle of the orange circle is the court. it is covered. i think it's kind of slippery, and they have benches which is neat.

 

but then you got me back with all those sweet moves.

derek and i are pretty pumped about tomorrow.
