Doesn't Denver's mid season comeback remind you of the Astros season comeback last year. Both teams got new coaches that improved their team dramtically, and they weren't even supposed to make the playoffs.
It won't happen. Denver is not as good as it appears to be, and they couldn't win all the remaining games.
Okay, let me see if I have this right: The choice is for the Rockets to play in the first round vs. either the Nuggets or a gay mute French PG with a sports-loving hottie actress beard? I'll take the Nuggs. I still say they'll fold faster than an origami expert on speed once the *real* games begin.
So, what if Seattle loses out, Denver loses a couple, we go at least 4-1, does that mean we get first round home court against the Sonics?
Now I really hope we will get the Sonics. Their front line just can't match up with ours. We will own the paint against them every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
We can't count sonics out. After all, they ARE injury depleted. When the playoff comes, most of their starting line-up will be healthy while Rockets are still short of JH, and Tmac and Yao will be still pretty banged up. They didn't give up tonight. I am sure they will be pumped up against Rockets come playoff time, just as much as Rockets will be. In fact, I am worried that if Rockets thinks Sonics is the weakest team among the top 4 western conference teams, they might let down their guards a bit, just like they did to those bottom ranking teams. So far they seems to have the right attitude and I hope they will keep it that way.
