I have an acquaintance who very often stinks to high heaven. It's obvious he doesn't shower very often, and his car doesn't have air conditioning, and he's overweight, so he does a whole lot of sweating.

He's been over to my house a few times, and the smell just lingers for a couple of hours after he leaves.

There was a kid in my middle school that stunk pretty bad. I kinda felt sorry for him. He was a fat black boy named Wilbur, and you could smell the kid as soon as he entered a room. One day the teacher told him he needs to start using deodorant before coming to school and have better hygene.

There are places in India where it might stink to high-heavan. But I would not say "most" places stink. Its probably the smell of spices. It might stink for you, but not for the actual people over there.

New Delhi, the Indian capital is actually one of the cleanest places. Sure there are probably some slums and whatnot, but then there arent that many cities that are completely trash free.

Then there are cities like Pune, Banglore, etc. that could make most Western cities look like trash.

I am from India so I know a thing or two. If you stay in a crappy ass hotel then your water will probably be yellow. However, there are nice ass hotels in India as well. I think there are only two 7-star hotels in the world. One is in Dubai and the other is in India somewhere.

Interesting you all should mention that. My boss is Indian, and some times he just reeks of under-arm smell. The guy doesn't exercise, so I wonder how you can smell that bad. Mix in some deodorant, okay?

To be fair, his boss is white and has terrible breath - like ALL of the time. You kind of want to turn your head and cough when they are both in the room.

Kind of along the same lines, I remember walking into first period late one day and smelling the distinctive smell of weed. It hit you as soon as you walked in the door. Apparently one of the girls in the class had been smoking some pretty strong stuff. Luckily for her, the teacher left her alone about it.

When I was a kid growing up in Bellaire (Houston), my next door neighbor was a stinky kid. I used to spend the night at his house and we would hear scratching in the walls. He would pound on the wall and yell "Mom, the rats are out again".

At the time, I thought is was pretty funny, but looking back it was pretty sad. His parents were alcoholics. The house was a mess. They had no living room furniture, just a pool table. There were bikers coming in and out of there all night.

They had a black cat named 'Lucifer'. Only later on in life did I learn what that really meant...
