that's not crappy music. destiny's child is one of the best female r&b groups out there. they're not just known for their looks. anyway, i happen to have the steve francis espn magazine with destiny's child on the cover (willing to sell), and i also have the yao espn cover from dec 25 2000, with yao posing in his chinese national team red jersey. i have multiple copies of that yao espn magazine from 2000, in case anybody wants to buy it from me. also interesting about the steve francis with destiny's child espn magazine is that it has a very interesting article on eddie griffin.
I agree with CLFranchise and Rocketforever. That is really lame how they cut Yao's head off the picture. Oh well still a cool cover idea.
I think they cut his head off to emphasize his hight and because he would look bald black hair on a black bacground.

Wow, it was only a couple of years ago, but Yao looks so much younger there. He has really put on some muscle since then too.
I would be interested in the Lebron James issue. I'm going to have to grab that new slam asap! I've got all the past Slam mags with Steve Francis on the cover or with big articles of him inside (Maryland days included).
Where did ya'll get this issue. I looked for it and the only issue I see out is the one with AI on the cover. I even went to Slam online to see and there was nothing.
