Rockets2k, I take it you are a mod by your clutch crew status. He didn't call any of the mods "kunts". He was talking to all those attacking him. He said "hurry up and ban me, f you Kunts". He knew he was getting banned, just wanted to throw a last shot in at those attacking him. It is like a mob here sometimes, with the cops on their side. I can see how you could miscontrue that though. What is wrong though, is that Moe took it further and you call that a tongue lashing, and say everything Pig said was trash. That couldn't be further from the truth. If I had to pick one post in this thread I wouldn't want my kids to read it would have been the one by Moe. It was way over the top and much harsher and more graphic than anything Pig posted. I guess something has to be said to justify the decision to ban one and not the other, though. Neither should be banned, but it is ya'lls web site and if you are gonna ban, fair should be fair. It shouldn't just be the good ole boy system.
Maybe so. I can just completely understand why moes reacted the way he did on this occasion. I can tell you, that if he would have talked trash about Refgal, it would have netted him a face to face somewhere to see if he would say it to my face. My guess is that he wouldn't. Most guys that stoop to that level on the internet are horrible cowards.
Refman, if Moe would not have come in here attacking him for no reason, admittedly not even reading his post, would Pig have said that? It is like this. If you were at a bar, and struck up a conversation about something with some people and some dude just walks up and says I don't know what he is saying, but don't listen. He is an idiot. How would you take this? If you then said something harsh back and 80% of the bar started attacking you, then what? If the guy who first walked up starting the whole mess then talked about killing you and your rotting corps and everyone was still on his side and calling the cops on you, how would you react? That is basically what happenned here and the guy who was being constantly attacked and just lashing back is the one who got arrested. He didn't start the confrontation and didn't go as far as those attacking him, but he went down for the incident, because he wasn't a regular at the bar.
What kills me is that people never consider his biggest expense. His time. Say you make $50-75-100,000 a year... what is that worth per hour? Clutch has put countless hours into this place, as has the crew, but Clutch especially. No one ever considers that. No one places a value on that, not a monetary value. My guess is that value (priceless to many of us) is considerable. Considerable. Food for thought.

Deckard, if we are basing this on a 40 hour week, it would be about 24-36-48 dollars per hour. That is a good chunk of change hourly or yearly, however you want to look at it. Most people would love to make that kind of jack, especially as just an extra income. I don't know what they make here just answering the question you poised. I understand what you are saying as far as if he doesn't make a dime off this site, but he makes money. He has contributions and sponsors/advertisers. There is money coming in. I don't know how much and don't care. I hope he is making a ton, because he runs a good site. You are making him out to be a martyr, though, and that isn't the case. You read and post on this board daily, I assume with your post count. Would you be a martyr if you were getting paid to do it and make improvements when necassery? Or would that be your dream gig? Two ways of looking at it. Man this thread has really gone off topic.
Ref, I am not defending him or his actions at all. I am calling it like I see it. He didn't start it, he didn't go as far, and he was attacked by pretty much everyone in thread. He lashed back. All I am saying is fair is fair, ban one, ban all. He did not come out and start talking trash about Moe's wife. He was talking trash about Vick. Moe attacked him and thats when he said what he did. Again, if Moe did not attack him, unprovoked, would he have said anything about Moe's wife? That is not even where it ended though. Did Moe talk about his death and about his rotting corpse? How do you single one out and not the other?
Considering GTP's established history of dickery on these boards, I really don't see why there should have been any need to give him the benefit of the doubt. Not to mention that he had like 10 posts in this thread alone that, when viewed either in or out of context, would be considered ban-worthy. Moes made one such post, then thought better of it and deleted it.

and i immediately apologized to you after you didn't find the joke funny. and the difference here is that people know what moes wife looks like (very beautiful, btw). i have no idea if your wife is attractive or not and if i knew, i certainly would not make a joke about it.
I understand your problem with what I said. But do you not agree that the Original Intent of this thread was moronic given that a.) His assessment of the Vick-Eagles situation was incredibly ignorant b.) We already had 2 Michael Vick threads, one in the hangout and in the D&D? Were my claims not justified? And even so, did he not respond in a cowardly manner? I'm just having trouble understanding why you keep trying to call this website a democracy when Clutch is King here, and he judges as he sees fit.
