Lol damage control, maybe we're just giving our honest opinions and don't really care that much that he left.
Really liked Dragic and thought he had a better control of his offensive game then Lowry in shot selection and getting guys open. But I wanted to keep Lowry at the start because his defense was better. That being said, after Lowry completely sabotaged our off season with his b****ing to the media, I want him gone and next season to be about developing the young talent we have so that we draft in the lottery again, the player we pick up will be a good PG.
I'm a little upset because I really liked Dragic. But I can also understand why he accepted a similar offer from Suns. He wants to be a starter. The Suns can give him that after they traded Nash. We can promise him that too, but with Lowry still on the team, it's not a lock.
I was upset when we lost him with in that 6 game losing streak near the end of the season. Now, not so much.
I'm more upset by the fact that I have no idea where this team is heading. Reason why I was losing interest last year was because of that. You let Dragic go only to offer Lin something in the same ballpark. You load up draft picks only to do squat with them. You talk about top priorities on the roster only to let them go. You want to move veterans only to keep them. And your only two free agents that you've signed could very well be matched by their current teams. Just stop trying to pretend already and go into full rebuilding mode. I swear they've must've turned a blind eye to that other team down the street from Toyota Center..cause the Rockets are making the same exact mistakes they did.
I like Dragic because he plays so hard, and showed he can hit the clutch bucket. But, I also think he is an overachiever and we saw his best he will ever be at the end of last season.
