When Johnson becomes older, he will learn and become slicker.

Sounds logical to me that someone would love a slick Johnson.

The Clippers play the Warriors, Portland, Memphis and Phoenix. It isn't THAT easy a schedule.

They also play the Knicks, Sixers, Lakers twice, Nuggets twice, and Celtics.

They easily have the easiest schedule of all the Western playoff teams.

Yup. I stopped worrying about Portland after they lost to the Heat.

When I saw the Clippers schedule it freaked me out. They have the weakest schedule by FAR.

SA and Memphis have the hardest, but after Memphis beat Dallas and Portland back-to-back and we lost to the Suns, it took the 2 seed out of play since we don't have the tie breaker, in my opinion.

Lakers might beat them once because that's just what happens in that LA rivalry.

If Memphis loses to Cleveland and we win tonight I see us getting the 2 seed.

The game at Phoenix is on the last day of the season. It's entirely possible(in fact, I'd argue likely) that the Suns will be eliminated from the playoff chase by then and will have nothing to play for. So we can't count on them doing us any favors that night.

Also, there's no telling if the Warriors won't rest some of their guys when they visit Staples Center next Tuesday. They've already clinched their division and they're in no danger of falling behind Memphis.

The Rockets can't count on the Clippers handing them the 3rd(or 2nd) seed. They just have to keep winning as many games as possible and try to hold them off.

I don't understand why Woj and Amick are tweeting this as news. McHale didn't say it a few hours ago ?

    Torn Ligament part is news.

By the way, did anyone notice that Woj first tweeted "torn ligaments" and changed it to "torn ligament." I like the fact that he edited it to less-severe.

No idea how that's possible but if true then that's great to hear.

[rQUOTEr]Houston Rockets starting guard Patrick Beverley suffered a torn ligament in his left wrist, and further evaluation in seven to 10 days will determine if season-ending surgery could be necessary, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Beverley met with doctors on Wednesday in Houston, where it was determined that more time was needed to evaluate the extent of the injury and the potential for further damage if he continues to play with it this season.

Beverley, who was injured in Monday night's win against Indiana, is an important part of the Rockets’ push for a Western Conference championship. He will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and is expected to command a significant deal – either in Houston or elsewhere.

It's his non-shooting hand, so he could play with a torn ligament. I guess the determining factors will be the risk of injuring the hand further and whether it limits his ability to dribble, pass, or shoot.

My guess is he sits out the 7-10 days as reported, gets another opinion or two, and if he's given the ok to play, he'll give it a shot late in the regular season. If it's too much pain or discomfort, he'll shut it down for good.

That's how Woj collects sources. He calls up the agent and says, "I'm writing a 3 paragraph blurb on the status of your client. Do you want to write the 3rd one for me? Just remember me when you hear some news around the league...ok?"

    Agent: "Deal"
