Is there any new information on James Harden's Injury status?

Will he play against the Hawks?

I would prefer he rest as much as possible but it always help to have the best offensive player on the court if possible.

I know for a fact he will play against the Spurs because he is a well known Spurs killer he just owns them and Kawhi Leonard.

I am hoping his injury is only a bruised foot but my concern is that he could potentially hurt himself and get a Lisfranc injury. The one that took Matt Schaub out for an entire season. His foot pictures did not look good at all.

Please reply with any tweets, articles and links as to his injury status. Thanks!

If he needs recovery time, he should rest. We'll need him for the play offs and the last thing we need is a nagging injury hurting his ability to play for weeks at a time.

We might lose a game here and there, but we'll get by.

Players are sometimes competitive to the point of stupidity. They risk their long term health, or don't see the bigger picture at the long term cost of their teams.

Heal up, come back strong, and dominate.

We can play a few games without James as long as we keep on winning them.

Matt Schaubs foot was crushed by a 400 pound Albert Haynesworth, don't think Linsfranc injury is in play here.

I heard he is a game time decision for Wednesday and leaning towards sitting out. And good, we should rest our main guys as much as we can during the early part of the season. We are deep enough and talented enough to win some games without our best guys on the floor. Come April and playoff time, the rest you can get for your players now will pay huge part in our success.

I hope he rests until he is healed. Losing a couple games because Harden isn't there isn't a big deal.

With the Hawks on a back to back tomorrow and a very dysfunctional Nets team on Friday I would be perfectly happy if he came back Saturday against the Spurs.

A Lisfranc injury would be caught by now. So I highly doubt he has that.

If it was upto me he would sit till the swelling disappears. You sit him for one or two weeks but once returns and the swelling comes back it's not going to solve anything. He needs to find the cause of the swelling however long it takes and fix it. It could endup being a hairline fracture and if you keep playing in it, you run the risk of damaging it for good.
