well the stage was set for the rockets at the beginning of the season many NBA insiders were calling the rockets the 2nd best team in the west. If we were healthy we could of easily been 7-0. We could of been CONTENDERS.

    instead....

MR. Tracy got hurt and we lost 8 in a row ....thus being called PRETENDERS

*Insert random nonsense comment about hoping that the Rockets do bad so that the city concentrates more on the Astros/Texans.*

Well, granted the Rockets don't have the best record in the west. Or in the division.

In fact, our record flat out sucks. But hey. What can you expect? Houston is full of a bunch of band wagon fans.

On a semi-related note, I can't believe the spurs lost to the bucks in OT last night. Dang'ol.

You're kidding right? OKC is a college football city and that's it. They don't even sell out OU which has had a very respectable team these last 4 years. Don't buy into the hype or Traber saying it'll work. They are selling right now because its a novalty. In 3 years if a team was there they would be drawing half capacity. The market's too small and not enough big companies.

I should qualify my statement by saying I lived in Houston for 20 years before moving behind enemy lines to Dallas in 2000. I was at both Championship parades, I watched Sampson's shot live, I loved it when they drafted Akeem Olajuwon.
