I'm a homer, and I think the team should remain the same this year. The reason you probably don't hear from us homers much is that we're not interesting. While others are dismantling the team and bringing in crazy ideas, we're just saying, Keep it the same.... and thats all that is needed to be said. So most of the people who are posting are the non-homers. Which isn't a bad thing cause otherwise this board would be relatively boring.

we tend to think of boston fans and new york fans, particularly in baseball, as being among the best in all of sports. yet, they're easily among the most critical of their respective home teams.

if you follow a team..if you freaking love when they win...but are truly disappointed when they lose...you are a fan. you don't have to see every move the team makes as golden. you don't have to think that your team is going to have a great year before each season. reality is reality.

being a fan doesn't mean you have to be blind.

I am, and always will be, a Houston Homer. Rox, Stros, Texans, whatever. BTW, I'm counting the days until an NHL team moves into town.

but you see, being a homer and being a fan who can see if there are problems and are dismayed at those problems do not have to have mutually exclusive viewpoints...

homers are just not as suseptible to kneejerk reactions than others.
We have patience and know that goods things come to those who wait.
