You can audition on You Tube!!

HOUSTON -- The Rockets have already found some of Houston's most crazed and rabid fans to become Red Rowdies.

Now, they're seeking a few more overzealous hoops nuts on YouTube.

The Rockets are allowing fans to audition for a spot with the Red Rowdies -- and earn free season tickets for the 2007-08 season -- by posting an audition video on youtube.com.

Four lucky fans will be selected by the Rockets to join the Red Rowdies, while a fifth individual can earn a spot online. That addition will be awarded to the fan receiving the highest rating from web viewers on the site. The competition will last until Oct. 17.

Each fan will have 60 seconds or less to persuade the Rockets and Houston's fans that they belong with the Red Rowdies. No videos longer than a minute will be considered.

Fans are asked to include an email address or contact number with their video submission. When posting a video on youtube.com, entitle it, "Red Rowdies Audition -- " with your name following the hyphens. Winners will be contacted with the information that they provide.

The Red Rowdies, which have already selected 40 Red Rowdies for the 2007-08 season, are a collection of basketball nuts gathered to help give the Rockets a home-court advantage. During their inaugural season, the crazed group of fans attended every Rockets home game free of charge and sat in a cheering section located in section 114.

You can try out THIS year. Watch the video.

Plus I think they will have another giveaway at the first Rockets away game. I think they'll announce a veiwing party where they'll give away more tickets.
