A lot of Rockets games on national TV, this means less on TV 51? I'm too poor to have cable, man, Help me!!
There will be more national games (32, I think), but the rest should be on 51. Just get out to a bar or restaurant for the national games on ESPN and TNT.
I think most of the national games will be also played on 51, except the ones on abc on sunday, and the ones on TNT on thursdays, because TNT have them exclusive on thursdays only. I don't think ESPN has any of the games exclusively.
The Rockets will, no doubt, be on 51 all season with the exception of national games. There is a good chance that 51 still won't be picked up by the satellite distributors so League Pass may not carry the Houston broadcast of games. But, next season, the Rockets move to their new regional sports network they are forming with the Astros and all of this will be straightened out.
I believe 51 was picked up by Dish first last year and then DTV picked them up later. Did this change? I know for a fact I watched some games on 51 on DTV.
League Pass will show the Rockets....but it wont be the Houston broadcast....it very rarely was previously anyway... not that big of a loss since Calvin isnt doing them anymore anyway..
Oh ok. Well I don't really care which broadcast it is as long as I get to see T-Mac and Yao do some damage. In fact it will be even sweeter hearing the dismay of the opponent's broadcast team, HA!!
I'm curious about next season, concerning the Rockets broadcast network, will it be carried on basic cable?
