    I'm not a big fan of 713. Decent atmosphere, but just average sushi.

    I'll second the Kaneyama suggestion. It's on the west side near you. I think westheimer and Jeanetta. Good quality sushi and nice happy hour prices.

    Also, as far as happy hours go I still like Zake which is at W Alabama and Shepherd. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but it's good and it's a nice atmosphere. Also, the calamari is fantastic and worth the trip alone. I recommend the fahrenheit roll.

    love sushi but I kinda have a problem spending $20 on a single roll that doesn't really fill me up. That could have been a steak and 2 side orders.
