I play guitar, bass, and viola and dabble in a medley of instruments. I also record and produce mad hits in my apartment.

    Gear
1980 Gibson 335 Tobacco sunburst finish
    69' Thinline Telecaster
Ibanez Artcore (not sure of the model)
    Fender Acoustasonic
    1970's model MIJ semi-hollowbody Yamaha
    Deering 5 string banjo
    Fender MIM P-Bass
    Washburn Mandolin
    Yamaha Les Paul copy Guitar
    Musicman Copy Baritone guitar
    Rogue Lap Steel
    Viola

As far as my recording setup:
    SM Sure 57
    SM Sure 58
    Alesis 12 Firewire Mixer
    Sonar Cakewalk Producer Edition 6.0
Fruity Loops (mainly for sampling and programming drums)

My main gig is a folk/soul duo with a friend, very low key: Pasquale. I play bass with another indie outfit up here, as well as random instruments in a couple other projects. I also have a solo studio thing: The Coverants.

I will also be trying out for the drummer for Jeff's band, Orange Is In in the very near future!

Very nice. I'm loving the eclecticism on the board.

I'm a guitarist, vocalist, and amateur pianist.. As far as my main instrument, I like to alternate between the main two I enjoy the most.. the classical guitar and electric.. I mostly play a certain mix and range of classical/romantic, jazz and general "rock".. though I'm not much for the blues.. though I have no trouble playing it.. it seems to be a genre I enjoy listening to, and observing, more than performing myself..

Considering how physical you were with me when we played ball that one time, I'm thinking you might want to find out.

I am very bad at the guitar and even worse at singing but I have been known to forget both facts when drinking. The highlight of my musical career was waking up from a blackout to realize I was leading 2000 people in a sing-a-long of I Melt With You (also playing guitar with the band Bloodfart) at Numbers. I also placed third in the Folk category in the Public News Music Awards back in the early 90s though I never played a public gig.

I own one beat up acoustic Yamaha that I bought for $100 in NYC in 1987 but it's on loan to a friend in Chicago.
