Before the inbounds pass, gather all your teammates who are smaller than you -- that would be all of them -- around you, and look into each of their eyes, and tell them the following: "I'm going to back my man in to the edge of the paint, right over there, and I'm going to put my hands up and look at you. When I do that, throw me the ball. If you pass the ball to somebody else, or if you take a shot, this fist right here is going to end up so far up your *** my fingers are going to come out your nose. OK? If your pass gets blocked, try again and do better. If I get stripped or I miss the shot, try again, and I'll do better. But if you're going to pass the ball around the 3-point line and jack up some garbage with a man in your face, get off my team, because I'm not going to lose any more games like that." Then do what you said. Back your man in, and put your hands up, and keep them up, and call for the ball. Don't beg for it; do it with a look in your eye that says you mean it. But if you're going to give up after 0.5 seconds of contact and slink off to the perimeter to set a pick, get off our team, because we're not going to lose any more games like that. Nobody's going to believe in you, including your teammates, if you don't believe in yourself.
Step up and assume full control big fella. Quit worrying about other's feelings. Tell your teammates that you need the ball, tell that little bald man that you need more touches, in every legal scoring way the NBA allows, which includes pick and pop, fake and drive and just pulling up for a jumper when you feel like it. Plant your a$$ in the high post when you feel tired and stop posting up. Post up only when you feel like it. Learn from Tim Duncan who plays the game the way he likes it. Learn to balance your energy through diversified attacks, quit challenging everything defensively, and do whatever you like. Stand up and fight for your freedom. Finds back you outside shooting, Shanghai shakes, ups and downs and passing. If you want to be a leader first you need to have the gut to rebel. Kobe rebelled against Jackson, T-Mac rebelled against the Magic. Feel the fun in playing the game and being a leader, you are not a soldier and boy anymore. It's either your way or other's way. If you can't control youself, it'd be others that control you!
Happy Thanksgiving. Be more smart. 1.When you don't have the ball, ok take a rest, when you get the ball, put all your energy on it. 2. Don't wrestle for position too hard(anyway you can not get the ball), jump some midriage even 3s, we'd like to see you shot bricks then our guards. Take easy.
