I watched Green play in the fonde league too, and he was never more than like the 5th best guy on the court.

Gerald Green is already a better shooter than Kirk Snyder. He is not the headcase that JR Smith is either. Not saying that he would be a steal but if they could trade him for Snyder that wouldnt be too bad of a move. Being from Houston and playing for a team that is actually playing for a winning team might help him progress. I dont think there is any doubt that he has more potential than Kirk Snyder.

    G Green = S Swift

It doesn't take a genius to see the similarities.

Except S Swift has a much bigger contract and has been in the league much longer.

maybe bringing him back home to Houston will force him into playing good. I would take the gamble on trading for someone this athletic. Landrys the only player that dunks on this team. lol

A few years of college could have done wonders for this kid. He would have learned to play the game because I know he didn't learn anything at Gulfshores. Too bad he didn't have anyone around him to push him in the right direction.

You would love to see him in a Rockets uniform, but you don't know what position he plays?

He is in no way a power foward.

When you can land this kind of young talent with something like Snyder, it's a nobrainer. We won't lose anything and can get something at the very least.

Thank you for an intelligent post. We only have 4 people on the team that try to dunk (Tmac, Bonzi, Yao, and Landry). That's right, Golden State, Phoenix, and any other athletic team just blew right by us and dunked on Yao's head again. Novak, Luther, etc... No D no playoffs

Quite possibly the DUMBEST justification attempt on a subject EVER!

Yeah athletic sky walker types really drag down their teams abilities and consequently, make them losers. I guess with your reasoning then we should include: Clyde "the Glyde" Drexler. Oh wait, he won a championship so, hmm .. I guess your theory just blew up in yer face, genius!

BTW, Dr J -Julius Erving, my childhood hero reinvented sky walker-dom and oh ... he also won a championship! Just FYI, numbnuts!

Try research, it makes you seem smart even if you aren't! :D

    Put simply:

    For Snyder = YES
For Hayes (or anyone else for that matter) = a resounding NO

I can agree with the above, I would however, give up Novak. Novak shot is money but the other parts of his game a horrible. I compare him to Kover and there is no comparison. Novak doesn't like the physical aspects of the NBA, rebounding and defense.

I see Gerald Green being able to offer somd defense and rebounding. I hope he's a young clyde with a better jumper in the making. Please remember clyde wasn't that bright coming our either.

Novak is in the 2nd year, he can become adequate on defense...

Apparently shooting well is a lot harder to teach than defense.

I don't see the desire in Novak at 6' 10" to mix it up physically. Plus he looks very slow on the perimeter trying to play D. No one has doubted his shooting, however, it's his lack of intensity that's horrible.
