Thank you choir. I can ease off the heavy preaching now. (See the thread "Trade Deadline Random Trade Thread.")

He has a bad case of can't play worth a damn. He's got really nice form on his jumper, though.

Jim Peterson, a TWolves analyst, said that Green has a hard time understanding basketball concepts during the Rockets-TWolves game.

Seems like another J.R. Smith to me - impressive athlete, some nice offensive skills, but very poor basketball IQ.

    Gerald Green = Turbo v. 2.0

The Rockets would also save money by selling the trampoline since Green wouldn't need it.

Green??? All that guys is good for is jumping over things and dunking the ball.

Take a look at this list of the past 8 years:

    # 2007 - Gerald Green, Boston Celtics
    # 2006 - Nate Robinson, New York Knicks
    # 2005 - Josh Smith, Atlanta Hawks
    # 2004 - Fred Jones, Indiana Pacers
    # 2003 - Jason Richardson, Golden State Warriors
    # 2002 - Jason Richardson, Golden State Warriors
    # 2001 - Desmond Mason, Seattle SuperSonics
    # 2000 - Vince Carter, Toronto Raptors

What do all those guys have in common? THEY ARE LOSERS and THEIR TEAMS SUCK wherever they go! Its the slam dunk contest curse I tell ya!

that makes no sense.... why does shane have to make up for any thing rudy gay has done he hasn't done anything out of the ordinary... WOW HE CAN JUMP AND DUNK... last time i checked the last 3 mvps haven't been exceptional athletes...last championship team weren't stacked with high light reel flyers... i dont care about sportscenter i care about... W's thats why i like shane over rudy gay.

I would definitely trade Luther Head and/or Kirk Snyder for Gerald Green. Bring him back to H-Town. This might be exactly what he needs to really jumpstart his career.

trading hayes for green would be terrible trade. hayes is a proven player and green is just potential with low basketball iq.

trading kirk snyder for green sounds better to me. kirk and green both have low basketball iq, one is a better defender, the other is the better scorer.

Look, here we have a pretty much certain lotto team who is in full rebuilding-around-youth mode... and a highly-hyped kid supposedly with a ton of potential can't convince the coach to spend court time allowing him to learn and develop?

Does that sound fishy to you?

Offer them Kirk Snyder for him straight up. Both are expiring contracts so worst case scenario it's a low risk lateral move for both parties. It gives both teams a chance to try each player out and decide if they're worth keeping around.

Better known to some as the Thabo Sefalosha near-fiasco - that a head coach and a GM should think Sefalosha worthy of the #8 pick. This alone makes trading JVG for Adelman worth it.

I don't think JVG knew how to drive the RV. :D

I would trade luther head for him. I know luther has known talent, and Green has potential, but he came out of HS and its almost time for him to develop. The wolves would agree to this deal unlike a hayes or snyder trade. I don't consider luther a key future player, he is a liability.

    Rudy Gay
    37.1mpg 19.4ppg 47.0 fg% 78 ft% 39 3pt% 6.0rbg 1.7apg 1.5spg

    Battier
    35.6mpg 8.3ppg 41.4fg% 69.4ft% 37.13pt % 5.0rpg 1.8apg 1.2spg

and most of those highlight reel dunks are easy points on fast breaks, battier has no fast break ability
