the main rule was you had to prove a spelling mistake at www.dictionary.com no grammatical errors of any kind count...it is a spelling game, not context. Punctuation of any kind did not count as a kill unless the punctuation is in the dictionary. the rule was to keep it simple. either it can be proven in dictionary.com or it can't. Most All hypens and apostrophe's are in the dictionary. Gray areas make the game no fun. just ask fadeaway and Manny and the other whiners about rules last game. for There instead of Their or They're type stuff we went by an honor system. if you know you messed up; take yourself out. The only other rule was that you had to post in this thread to start; you have to post the kill in this thread (nowhere else to avoid annoying others); anyone even outside the game could make a kill (that was just to satisfy those junior members who wanted to play); and the junior member thing was solely from avoiding people from starting new IDs just to play while they go about misspelling all over the place with their regular ID. anyhoot...have fun.
Oh please. The only blemish on the game last time was your weird power trip (ie: "This is my game. Do it this way, or else!"). I'm so glad that someone reasonable like Htownhero is running the game this time around. But enough bickering. Good luck, everyone!
