I will start a poll tomorrow with these options:

    M&M
    BigMac
    The 1s
    McDynasty
    Rush Hour
    M2
    Chicken'n'Rice

Whoever votes has to agree that he will support and promote the result of the poll together on this forum, no matter what it might be. After that, we will suggest the result to Tim as people's choice, and hope he will market it from within the Rockets' organization.

I didn't put names like Yao-Mac, Y-Mac, McMing, McYao there, because I think those are simply recombining the words Yao and T-Mac. We need something creative.

I am not sure about Chicken'n'Rice either. It is funny, but more like a joke. Even it wins, I am not sure Tim can market it. It probably won't be there tomorrow.

If someone feels their case is really strong but got snubbed, let me know please.

Is it too late to add new nicks?

How about M2, but the 2 is upper case. It shall be pronouced M square.

The idea is when these two M's get together, their strength doesn't just being added together, but is multiplied.

No, it's never too late. Keep the brainstorm going. If many good ideas show up, we can add a new poll and have a tournament thing. It's all up to you guys. I just listen to what you guys say.

I like my suggestion better, multiple nicknames for a variety of situations and occassions. :D

Here's an idea. How about 'The MS'? Ming+MacGrady=MS.

Another idea. Dream II. First, Dream represents houston and NBA champions, or simply greatness. Second, isn't this the second time fans dream about something great? And we hope Yao and T will realise that dream for us. Third, II stands for two:I for Yao, I for T-mac. Anyway, the meaning of Dream II is certainly many-fold. You can derive the meaning as you like. As I am writing, I feel that I like it even more...I also believe Dream II will not be overshadowed by Dream...

So why not just go for it: Dream II.
