Wow, if they went after Stoudomire!!!

What type of deal would it take to get him? Would Artest, Scola, and Head get it done?

    If so, get it done!

    Yao; Mutombo
    Stoudomire; Landry
    Battier;
    Wafer; Barry
    Alston; Brooks

If Morey even think about doing this VC for Battier, Artest, Landry, and Head, he's dumb-er than i thought. We go from a deep team to a team with no dept. Do they want to throw in Yao and Scola to that mix too? geeeezzh!

i hope it's SJax. i read last week in a SF/Oakland paper (either the chronicle or the contra costa) an article that was detailing the likeliness of each of the Warriors players getting traded. when they mentioned stephen jackson, instead of saying that he was untouchable or the team leader or anything of that ilk, all the article said was that "most teams will get scared of the years on the contract," or something like that.

his contract and ron's for this year are almost identical (it works on the trade machine = http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=caha8j ), and given the money they're stuck giving to biedrins, monta, turiaf, sjax, and maggette, they're looking to cut contracts.

for everyone that hasn't seen jackson play lately and has the an antiquated impression of him - he's the unquestioned leader of that team. he does a little bit of everything. and, like ron, he isn't a headcase anymore.

Prediction: In yet another "Bobby Jackson" type of trade, the Rockets (once again) trade for Mike James.

The two are inextricably intertwined, destined to meet again and again.

What's the obsession with Mike freaking Miller ? He looks like a woman and no way I want a guy like that on our team, he's not that good. People who really think Artest +...... for Mike Miller is a good trade are seriously r****ded. I would like Morey to do that just to prove you how bad that trade would be and without Artest there is no hope for advancing in the playoffs. SF position and SG is fine as it is with Barry & AB combo, Wafer, Battier and Artest rotation. PF is the position we need to get an upgrade as far as length and athleticism is concearned. Bosh would be nice but don't count it.

Whoever we get, please do not give up Battier, Artest, Wafer nor Yao Morey !!!!!

watch mike do shooting drills. that's why people like him. he's got a pretty incredible shot, and can shoot on the move.

I think he fits in a richard hamilton or ray allen role. definitely not a bad player to have if you are going to miss tracy's offensive production.

but you're right that the 1 and 4/5 spots should be our primary concern.

um that team is garbage compared to the one we have now. if that is what we get we might as well stay where we are.

Also look at every other year besides this one...

Miller has constantly been above 40% 3-point shooting, and his ppg have never dropped below 11 (until this year obviously).

He can be a damn good player. He just needs to get out of that horrible situation in Minnesota.

You sir, should be upgraded immediatly for looking deeply at a situation rather than just glancing over it.

I would like Miller as a 3rd option behind a good wing and Yao. If we trade Artest to get him, without TMac being able to play, then this team won't be as good with Miller as the 2nd option rather than Artest being the 2nd option.
