I haven't bought from Pizza Hut in years. They were always so slow (up to 2 hours). We went to their lunch buffet a couple of years ago, and they were constantly out of Pizza (or pizza most people would actually eat). Customers were like sharks waiting for the pizza to finally arrive. I originally hated Papa Johns, then I loved it, and now I hate it again. Maybe if I still ordered nothing but pepperoni it wouldn't be as bad. Unfortunately my wife now hates Dominos (she worked there for several years and liked it then) and loves Papa Johns. Somehow, she has never had Pizza Hut.
I bought two large stuffed crust from Pizza Hut. It was delicioso delicioso. That cost 28 bucks and I had to pick it up because it takes too long. Will settle for this today.
I love pizza, but I avoid pizza buffets like the plague. Too many fatties camping out in line waiting for the next pizza to come out. Pizza Hut isn't bad. Their $10 box is a really good deal. Papa Johns is very expensive and they never have any good deals. Not bad pizza, but not worth basically paying double compared to what you pay for Dominoes and Pizza Hut. Oh, and in before someone comes in saying ma and pa pizza parlors are better than chains.
I worked at the Missouri City Dominos for 4 years before starting my current job last year. And I can attest that online orders suck. The main reason is that there is absolutely no warning that an order is incoming. With the phones, you can at least hear them ringing and you have at least a few minutes to prepare to make the order. The online orders just pop up on the screen without any warning. Also, people ordering via phones have to wait on the people answering the phones before they can order. No waiting with online orders, so it's very easy for a store to get slammed if there are several online orders placed in a small timeframe. That being said....I almost always order online now that I don't work there.
I use to hate Domino's. Recently, i only buy their steak pizza with white sauce and brooklyn style crust. Delicious. Every time. I used to prefer Papa John's, but even with their buy one get one free deal, which is basically 50% off, you still pay too much. Their tomato sauce has become too sweet, but worst of all, they skimp on the toppings. I started ordering additional servings of toppings to counter that and didn't see much difference. Domino's uses chunks of chicken, steak, etc.. Pizza Hut can be good, but overall it's usually overcooked and it tastes like it has much more sodium. I usually just order from there when i want a stuffed crust.
