I'm interested in joining a campaign. I don't have the spell books or anything, I just wanna get my feet wet back in it. Anyone playing looking for new players?
Check out Fantasy Grounds. Depending on what license the DM has, it is possible to play for free. You can also buy the "digital" fantasy grounds Players handbook from their store, but you don't have to. You can just use the regular Player's handbook. Look at the forums in the Looking For Group section to find a game/campaign. It's pretty cool. It got me back into playing after a very long hiatus.
What part of town are you in? Empire nerd store in League City has a different active game going almost nightly. I'm too busy to play but if you are interested I can get you details.
