Any chance the Miami game gets picked up next week?

    doubt it and not because ESPN woudnt want but they are restricted by their tv contracts that they can only show the same team a max amount of times per season and of course the Heat are shown the Max amount possible on all the major public networks (abc, espn, tnt)

    so basically if this game is picked up by espn they'd have to drop another heat game in the future to not violate their contract. looking at the heat schedule they have a cake walk of a schedule to end the season and have two more national games, one against the bucks on espn and one against the celtics on abc...now the Bucks game could be dropped in favor of the Rockets game but then that may cause a scheduling night mare especially if teams already are preparing for a national game. thats why you rarely see a game picked up in the nba...at times there will be a game picked up when if its against two really hot teams (i remember a okc/bucks game being picked up when OKC was surprising the league and jennings was too last season). but you rarely see a team like the lakers, the heat, spurs etc get one of their games picked up by national media all of a sudden.
