Sixers need to cut someone and Granger sure as heck does not seem to fit into their current (tanking) or future (rebuilding) plans.

I think we can offer the most money to him.

Would be awesome on our bench! Lin, Granger, Asik

Clippers just made moves at the deadline so they would NOT be paying luxury tax.

Spurs also did a bit of salary dumpage.

Don't think they're contenders for more salary.

There are rumors that he will be bought out.

Not sure if Rockets would be #1 on list, but that would be a great pickup if it happened.

Yup. The Room Exception that we didn't spend during FA would help quite a bit here in competing for buyout guys. If Morey believes Granger's healthy enough to contribute, we probably get first shot at signing him.

Granger is starter material for this team not bench.

Orlando was about $5 million under the cap. They probably renegotiated and added his buyout to this year's cap. Smooth move for them and definitely smooth move for big baby.

I want him, even a washed up granger is better than Garcia and Casspi....I feel we would be competing with a lot of teams though...

If he wants to get paid and play for a scrub team after playing for a contender all year, so be it. But if he is hell-bent on signing with a contender, we have more to offer (money and role) than most.

Absolutely not. He'd be a big upgrade over Garcia though.

Starter material usually doesn't get picked up off the waiver wire.

There's usually a couple after the deadline, though Granger certainly doesn't deserve to start over Parsons.

D-Mo is doing ok. If Granger is waived, DM should go after him.

Granger will end up in Miami where he gets a shot to stick it to the pacers. I'd say there is about a 1% chance he ends up in Houston, put the pipes down people.
