seems like anytime a player is available or on the market, some idiot gotta start a thread and ask the same ol' question, is this someone the rockets should get?

So if you have the choice of being a bench player on the best team or a bench player on a lesser team, you choose the lesser team? Because you are "competitive?"

    That doesn't really make sense.

Unless I have a personal hatred for the people on the best team, of course I want to play for the team that has the best chance of winning. Because I AM competitive. I didn't quit on my team to go join the best team, my team got rid of me.

I'm sorry. I'm tired of hearing the same damn teams rumored to be chasing any and everybody coming off waivers. The Clippers, Heat, Pacers etc..Why are we not aggressive in getting these guys? ESPECIALLY Granger. We will need a few veterans that can score during the playoffs. These D-League stars Morey's in love with are not going to cut it come postseason.

Plenty would argue you should have a personal hatred for those players because you are competitive. This is the team that knocked you out of the playoffs twice in row. But to each his own.

I'm sure if Yao signed with the Jazz after the 2008 Playoffs you would have a problem with it....or maybe you wouldn't.

Anticipating a buyout from the Sixers, Danny Granger's camp views San Antonio as the small forward's top choice to sign with, per source.

He would get more playing time with the Rockets than any other team... he would still be coming off the bench but he could back up two positions for 25+ minutes per game.

I think this guy may be done. He's slow and can't move like he used to.

He would take Hamilton's minutes. Question is, at this stage in his career, is he actually even an upgrade? I'm somewhat skeptical.

I think he'd do well choosing the Spurs, not sure if I'd want him honestly.

I think it's more likely that he would take Casspi's minutes, of which there are none. So he won't be a Rocket.

If he can be that 3 and D guy we've seen from the past, I wouldn't mind.. He might be a whole lot better next year, than this one.. since he's recoving from a injury..
