I like Razing you .. . because you schtick is pretty consistant

In the end. . it is not about HIM . . it is about US
We go about indiscriminately killing people with out due process
When the next plains run into buildings and they screaming
THIS IS FOR Anwar al-Awlaki. What do we say?

    Here is the real funny
If I say give the indians their land back . .
you say . . well someone always conquer from someone
can you cannot go back and give to the original blah blah blah

However . . .it is always because YOU SIDE is benefitting now
In this circle of terrorism . . they can claim damages by us
and we can claim it by then . . .
Again . . . you will dismiss their greivences because. . well . . .it is based
on something we may have done wrong . .. and then only track it back
as far as it benefits you .

    A long way of saying . . .
As far as I know . .they are fighting for supposed slights/damages done to them
We dismiss that as . . old *****. . why they bringing up old *****
    but
we use their slights/damages to do new ***** to them for the ***** they did to us.
It opens up alot of questions for me. . that would probably be better served in a new thread.

It is all good you are one of my favorites on the board.

I think there are times that you have to get dirty. You can't sit there and let someone punch you in the face without punching back.

Actually, as I am 1/4 American Indian, I would be happy to get the land back....but yes they were a conquered race of people. They should have been better assimilated, but today, they are doing pretty danged well with all their casinos etc....getting America back for the booze, I guess.

What did those people in the twin towers do wrong? I am sorry, I don't need a deeper meaning for these things, sometimes people are just assholes.

The whole reason Osama was mad was because we were on something he thought was holy ground, well **** THAT, what about the 4.6 billion years before Mohammed, when it was just ground?

    Fair enough.....

How many US soldiers do you want killed trying to physically capture al-Awlaki so we can give him a fair trial? Arresting him wasn't an option. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

    None.

Why was it not an option?
Even the guy that walked up and shot a U.S Senator got a trial
[Jared Lee Loughner <-- why exactly is he still living?]
We arrest who we want to arrest. . and kill who we want to kill
We justify it . . and tell others to live with it .

I am uncomfortable with the assassination game.
I worry it will be visited upon us . . . . chickens and roosting etc

See, I would rather just assasinate than go to war. Having a mutlinational hit squad that reports to a multinational committee would be what I would want to see.

If you do crimes against peaceful society, you are on the list to be terminated.

It's so much easier to speak from a moral high ground when one is not in charge.

Except the guy that shot a senator got pinned down and arrested. Apples =/= Oranges. We got intel from the Yemeni gov't and blasted the guy when he was vulnerable. Kudos to Obama for getting him as this was probably a very rare moment(He already escaped one attempt on his life recently IIRC).

I understand your point and I believe that IF arresting him was an option, then this attack would be wrong. Thinking arresting him was a reality is pretending that we live in a land full of unicorns and magical ponies.

This is war. He was key in spreading propaganda and recruiting members. He's dead and is now a martyr. Nobody wins, but there is one less enemy of the state.

We've been terrorized more by the police and by our own government even more so than the terrorists our government has cast aside our rights to destroy.

Obviously I'm not arguing that if someone surrenders or turns himself in that they should be killed on the spot. Its when they refuse to turn themselves in.

What country hasn't tried to assassinate its enemies? At the end of the day we're all nationalists. Who cares if we do it? As long as its not being done to us.
