I have seen and met many of these stars over the (good or bad)years. First, I talked to Hakeem at the Shell station at the corner of 59 and Williams Trace pumping gas, this was after the first year he won the championship, he asked me if my car was the new acura NSX , I guess he had heard about this car and was lookng to buy one. But he was mistaken because my car is not am NSX. But by chance I love that car and knew alot about it. So I explained certain things about the car to hakeem, I also told him that I did not think he could fit into the car at all, and he laughed, The reason I knew this is because Jordan had just bought a (NSX)and he had to get it a custom seat and jordan barelly fit in it at 6'6. Hakeem at 7 ft is not possible. I have seen Mario Elle & Horace Grant at the Roxy during the finals with the Magic. I saw Otis Thorpe and Mad Max at some club I forgot the name, Thorpe was so quiet i don't even know why he even went out. I use to always see Mad Max on 59 northbound from Sugar Land in the morning in his Bad asss BMW I saw Barkley at AMC24 in sugar land about 2 years ago.I was in line and i heard his voice and i knew it was him. I have always loved Barkey way before he became a Rocket. this was exciting becasue I had not met him and he was still new to the city. I saw Kenny Thomas at Toke Bar about 6 months ago. In one night within 20 mins, I saw Horry at Blockbuster in Sugar land and then I went to buy some beer at Gerland's in front of Sugar Creek and I also saw Sam "I Am" Cassell.This was exciting because this was a couple of days or so after the first championship every body in the store was excited. I played in the basketball league at Swee****er Country Club with Darrel Kyle (Ex-astro-now all-star)and Roger Clements before he got traded to the Yanks and Andre WareEx cougar Heisman) At Swee****er Country club I have seen Kenny Smith and Bagwell and Sleepy Floyd. With Floyd, I saw him playing with some of the better guys in the gym and he could still put on a clinic.This was fun to watch! I saw Rudy at Houston' resturant once right before playoff game of the Rockets. In 1994 About a year & a 1/2 ago I saw George the Ice Man (old school) at Canyon Cafe in San Antonio.
