I heard from a reliable source that Dream is still sitting in his home but is "unavailable" for comment.

Good for Antonio Davis. Hopefully he won't be another Quitten, put up pathetic numbers, and demand a trade. I'm still hoping for Webber a little bit, but I would be more than happy with Mo.

Would have been a nice, but not the end of the world. If we didn't sign any major free agents this year, I would still be happy with what we gained in our offseason.

Right on wrath of khan. That's alot for a guy who hasn't produced at the superstar level but is a good player. Dosen't it seem that eventually everyone will get huge 10+ plus dollar? Yeah im stretching it but when alan houston can get 13 million or whatever and Davis getting his 12 million. Of course, equal and better players will want more. There are plenty of Pf and SG's that are better or just as good. I used to think these contracts were for the franchise players. Well, the owners have the money so why not.

Here's hoping that the Rockets lose Olajuwon's number and address and put a new player's tape over his on their speed dial. His continued presence on the roster serves zero purpose; therefore, the post-Olajuwon era should begin immediately. Invite him back for the jersey retirement only.

Don't know if this had been posted elsewhere, but according the 610 am sports flash. along w/ Antonio Davis set to resign are Jerome and Alvin Williams.

Both were players I would have loved to see here as reserves, but is looking unlikely now.

610 is also saying Ewing will sign for Orlando for 2 mill (I suppose leaving the rest of their exception to chase someone else).

Now if only Dream would do the same...

I suppose Toronto is paying Davis to ensure VC will stay. If he doesn't, Toronto will be a team of high priced roleplayers, with no superstar, and will go back to the lottery for a LONG time.
