I dont see him as much of an upgrade over Rafer, and centainly he is not worth 4.2 M.

As for Antonial Daniels, can he play some D? He will be a good backup, but we have backup suckie on this team already, aka Rafer Alston. We need a starting caliber PG.

I wanted Antonio Daniels here last year. I was hoping that we'd trade Mike James for him in a SnT, actually. But he's far from the player he used to be. He was great calming influence off the bench for Seattle. He'd make the right decisions on when to attack, shoot, or pass. In the Washington games I've seen, he's just far too slow for them and not a good defender. He never used to be a playmaker, but now it's like he's just standing around on offense. I can't see him being a good fit here. Definitely not an upgrade over Rafer.

Antonio can't shoot for #$*$. He's 3pt shooting is not even comparable to Rafer Alston. He does bring good defense is a solid veteran decision maker, but no 3 pt shot... He's also overpaid at $5million per year.

I just threw up in my mouth. We are winning. Why ship out Rafer? We are winning. Why ship out a PF. Our guys buy into our system and it is a system that can win.

Earl Watson would be a better fit than Antonio Daniels in any case. We could/will get neither so it doesn't matter.

Plus Juwan could never go back to the Wizards hahaha I wonde what would happen if he did.

I just read somewhere on Yahoo sports that Van Gundy said he is not going to change the starting point guard.

    per Dadakota:

"What we need is a Kenny Smith type of player.......

    Luther Head with better handles."

    DD

I want to keep Luther - he is more consistent than Kenny Smith was. IMO - Kenny was very streaky....

Y'all see what Sam Cassell, old E.T., did last night? I wish we'd never let him get away.
