I heard they just think out loud about a vaccine, find it interesting then boom, they come into existence and next thing you know, they give them out like candy.

    With that state of mind...

there is no such thing as development based on the field of medicine, trials in animal and human for months to years, mass manufacturing with quality control and ongoing study on effect and impact ... it’s just faith based

    none

I just find the presumption that all vaccines are unquestionably good insulting to my intelligence. They should all be subject to scrutiny.

Ask the folks in Africa how they feel about the vaccines that Gates’ foundation rolled out on them. Some didn’t quite work out so well. I’m not an anti-vaccer but I won’t be the first in line to get whatever they’re cooking up.

The big argument that I see on the inter web is that there are suggestions that you won’t be able to come to work or fly without it. Who here is raising their hand in agreement to that idea? It’s conspiracy theory **** but the idea has been floated on several MSM networks by their ‘expert’ guests. This whole idea falls in line with the conspiracy theorists’ playbook. You can bet your ass there will be civil discourse. And I think I’d line up with them against that those type of measures. At least with this bug.

you won’t be. By the time it’s offered to you, human trials would have deem it safe for large distribution.

Vaccine is not risk free, especially among immunocompromised, and there is a chance that a type of vaccine (live version)could actually cause a mild version of the disease itself and that may become a bigger problem if it mutate in a person and start spreading. There maybe severe reaction. These are extremely rare chances and the health benefit outweighs those risk by many order of magnitude.

Some people understand the benefit well but refuses to take any risk and want a free ride on herd immunity... these aren’t the antivaxx, but free loader, zero risk adverse type people. This group is probably a bigger risk to herd immunity than the antivaxx group.

Yes. I fully on board with requiring vaccinations and other measures before you fly. You're stuck in a metal tube with 100's of other people for hours breathing recirculated air. We're dealing with airborne pathogens then yes for he security of myself, everyone else on the plane and those where we're landing at to be as secure as possible. If that means you need to be vaccinated then so be it.

Flying isn't a right. We already deal with security screenings and we're banned from bringing this like lighters on to planes already. Requiring vaccination doesn't seem that much different. Even before all this broke out at many Asian airports there were temperature checks and if you had a fever they wouldn't allow you to either board the flight or come into the country.

Fair enough. I agree, you give up your rights for the privilege to fly or the carrier's right to serve you. And if the gov. mandates that you vax. prior to returning to work? Is that something that should be left up to the employer and then are there any liability issues with that? Or is it government mandated? Lots of questions to ponder if a vax. is what eventually is demanded before you're allowed to participate in, commerce, community, etc. I don't get a flu shot every year. My wife and kids do. Then again, I'm not putting anyone at risk. It's a tricky issue for me IF there is any biometric tracking involved. And I see the merit in the convenience of a vax. that provides data to let someone know you're vaxd or safe to everyone else. It's the ID2020 stuff that bothers me https://id2020.org. One step closer to Orwell's 1984 or the eventual evolution of the human race living together on the same planet? 30 years ago when these types of ideas were presented as a wild NWO conspiracy, I said 'Hell No'. Would I resist now? I'd be the last in line but doubt I'd resort to violence or discourse.

Joe Rogan had Brett Weinstein and Jordan Peterson on and Weinstein posed the question: If you lived in Nazi Germany and you were asked to be a guard at one of the death camps would you vehemently resist and say no or would you do what everyone else was doing and toe the line? The reality is we'd toe the line.

I bring all of this up because I've been aware of the conspiracy story for over 30 yrs. 30 years ago, I'd say nah...it'll never happen. 30 years later and I see it, but I'm desensitized and when it's all said and done, I'd go with the flow if it meant my job, travel, community, etc... I'll let Alex Jones fight the fight.

If an employer can give you a drug screen, how is that any different than asking you to prove you are vaccinated against a disease that is a threat to its operations?

Who is making this presumption? I have never heard anyone say vaccines should not be subject to scrutiny. They have always been.

Some places in Africa refuse to put bleach in their water* because they're afraid of the cancer risks even though deaths from contaminated **** invested water are significantly higher. It's all about weighing risks.

As for surveillance state fears, that's the largest gaping hole left by 9/11. Cheney turned the key and now all our info is routed through spook servers. Even before "free" social media, our credit cards, cell, and isp usage provided enough of a footprint and it's getting progressively worse. That "metadata" is your id2020 without the perks of travel or proof of identification.

This isn't conspiracy talk and no bunker or available ammo will get you through this. Vocal non-consent and action that led to Europe's GDPR is a start. Making the scary fisa court apparatus transparent is another baby step.

If it's you versus the multibillion lobbyists, feels much safer to reach for a gun. But the gun is an immediate safety blanket for self preservation. We're beyond that kind of war.

It's much easier to take out or ostracize people or small well regulated groups individually than a fed up and actively vocal majority.

*For any low info Trumper following that advice, a drop or two per gallons is enough.

Which vaccine didn't work out so well? There's a lot of misinformation attacking Gates right now for some bizarre reason.

Those are pretty good numbers. 85%+ of the country getting vaxxed should be enough to stomp this out.

They won't be endangering you if you take the vaccine. Problem solved. Why do you care so much about people's decisions about their bodies? Isn't it their body their choice?
