I'm opposed to calling it a multi-faith organization for PC reasons when it's obviously not. If it's truly a multi-faith effort to build a community center then why does it have a mosque and who is providing the funding for it? Much like the case with Obama, you can't flatly dismiss all questions and criticisms as racially motivated. Building a mosque at ground zero is in poor taste in my view. Sort of like buying the OKC fed building land and turning it into a militia gathering place. You have a right to do it but it's understandinly going to upset people.

I heard some guy on (surprise....) local talk radio this morning saying that the reason he's against the mosque is because the islams could use it to store a nuc-u-ler bomb. He was totally serious. Dude waited on hold for half an hour to say that.

Believe what you want (and apparently you do) but that is what it is. A non profit center for the entire community of lower Manhattan; be you Muslim, Christian, Jewish or Atheist that happens to be run by Muslims.

If they opened something like this next to the WTC, would you be against it? Simply because it is on Mosque grounds, and because it is funded mainly by Muslims?
