so how good is he? I mean if he can hit the outside 3, hes going to strive big time in a rockets uni. Harden and westbrook could create for him. If he big enough to grab rebounds, why not move him as a stretch 5, late in games....?
Is this guy even a good thing to be in the 15 man squad by the end of training camp? Even if he doesn't make it, I'm more excited to see his name on the roster than Chiozza and Frazier! May as well take the chance that his 3ball continues, that he somehow becomes willing to learn to play in a system, and that he is smart enough to fit a role and feed off Westrbrook and Harden.

He also had a box plus/minus (BPM) per 100 possessions of 4.5; his first year in the G-League, he had a BPM of negative 4.7. That's a significant improvement. Last season he finished 1st in 2-point FG% and 9th in 3-point FG% (with 45.3%). He also finished 2nd in True Shooting Percentage, Effective Field Goal Percentage, and Offensive Rating. These are all improvements over his previous seasons. His rebound percentage has dropped a bit from previous seasons, but that likely has to do with him spending more time beyond the arc on offense. I would bet that Morey and Dan Tony are hoping that Aaron Bennett's improvements in the G-League indicate a better chance of contributing on an NBA court, particularly with two big-time playmakers feeding him (as long as they aren't feeding him donuts).
If he becomes a serviceable role player, it's a big win for a guy you has played so little in the NBA and has most of his highlights at the G-League.
