Colts talking like they are close to landing him for a couple high draft picks.

Irsay is talking some major trade coming.

Not sure why everybody jumped on Donny for his Philly post. It was just a scenario, he didn't say it was imminent. MJD's style would be a nice fit in Philly, if Vick could learn to check down.

Lebron would be a perfect fit coming off the bench for the rockets in a sixth man role.

I've not heard of a max fine being put in place, but that is a possibility. There is no way the CBA allows a player not to live up to his contract.

We apologize for calling out the deficiencies in that scenario.

Lebron would actually be a good fit in any Rockets role right now.

You mean like how he spent the first part of his career?

I'm not sure why Detroit would be a terrible fit.

    How are there deficiencies?

It was a note that he'd be good on a team that fits his skill set, not all that crazy.

Most NFL teams employee a multi-running back backfield now.

He's 27 so he has at most 2-3 more years at elite level, going off running back standards of course.

We've seen crazy stuff like this happen. How many of you saw Vick going to the Eagles 3 years ago and then becoming the starter a year later? What about Asomugha, Samuel, and Rodgers-Cromartie on the the same team?

Is it feasible? As long as Jone-Drew gets paid I'm sure he wouldn't care. Is it possible? Not likely but as noted above you never can tell.

I'm pretty sure you can go re-read our posts to determine what we thought those were. Don't want to "blow a gasket" again and re-hash them. :)

I think there are fines and stipulations for players missing camps for unaccepted reasons...pretty sure they were upped for this CBA too. I guess that's the point Florio was making: the consequences of holding out are stipulated in the CBA and MJD is doing what he thinks is in his best interest, and he knowingly accepts the repercussions for doing so.

That's about as likely as MJD to Philly. Doubt me? Then let's bet.
