Tinman's existence depends on those 2 guys. He's been sent to Clutchland to save its inhabitants from all (2 people) evildoers who put player in front of team.

He's like Don Quixote fighting windmills

Comedian in a George Bush kinda way (where he says something funny and doesn't realize it), not in a George Carlin way

It's up to three now and the poll's still young--only 43 total respondents.

You are Robin to his Bat*****?

Those 43 respondents are a bigger sample than the samples you use in your famous statistics

Tinman, this is one of the worse threads ever created on this board. I know u have some rationale, but there isn't one. This is really worthy of rookie drop down status.

Maybe if you calmed down you'd understand what I'm saying.

You said there were only two guys that voted for option #2. I pointed out that now there's three. As the number of people who respond goes up the number of people who vote for option #2 is also likely to go up.

If you're arguing that 43 respondents is a valid sampling size then that means that about 6-7% of the people here are T-Mac only fans, a minority but a measurable one. I don't think you understand that 3 T-Mac only fans in the poll means a lot more than just T-Mac only fans on the entire board.

There's another issue with the poll respondents being self-chosen but that's another ball of wax entirely.

    bigez,
you know there's a point to these captain obvious threads. if I made a thread for you and fans with your knowledge, it wouldn't be this one.

when I throw out Michael Ray Richardson or Alex English out here, only a few know who I'm talking about.

I'm going with the flow with the Tmac threads for now. And you know that the scenario I put out there is real.

we have lost when tmac averaged 30points (dallas). Not saying its his fault either. Has anyone ever explored that we could WIN WITHOUT TMAC in the FIRST ROUND?

so you think if we have a healthy Yao Ming and current squad (no Tmac)
we can't beat (excluding Lakers/Spurs) in the first round?

    Denver
    New Orleans
    Portland
    Dallas
    Phoenix

i think a better poll will be

    a) Rockets past first round but lost in second round (t-mac average 30pts/g)

    b) Rockets reached final/conference final without t-mac

Oh come on, this is too easy. Of course we all want another first round exit and T-Mac to average 30 Points a game. You fail for even making a thread for a question like this! Seriously, who in their right mind wants to see the Rockets advance past the first? Only noobs do! As long as the best player in the world gets 30 Points a game, we all win. Anyone can score 30 points, but when T-Mac scores 30 points, its like time gets frozen for those 30 points. Everything is stopped, while we all witness the beauty of T-Mac scoring 30. The outcome of the game and series are an afterthought after that happens. Nobody wants championships, we want 30 points. I can hear the chants when T-Mac is at the free throw line now, "30 POINTS! 30 POINTS! 30 POINTS!!!!"

On a less serious note, I bet there are fans that want us to lose in the first round with T-Mac again just so they can get their "I told you so" Viagra. They rather see the team fail with T-Mac so they can soothe their egos instead of seeing the Rockets win a championship with T-Mac.

Tinman, didn't you prove your point in the tmac Orlando thread.
This only add on to the hate on this broad against tmac fans vs tmac hater,
just drop it, seriously. Some people just don't get it, no matter how hard you try, and this is not helping no one.
How about you add more positive thread than negative threads? Seriously stop contributing to the hate on this broad.
Answer this question would you rather make threads about proving you point which you already did, or something more contributing to this broad.

I think it does because there are those on this board...like you IMO...that prefer TMac success to the Rockets success.

    I agree with this statement.

I didn't vote. All I want is for the Rockets to actually make some noise in the playoffs and get out of the first round (minimum). But I don't wish for them to do it with out TMAC.

And for the fact that this could be one of the worst polls ever on this site.....seriously, who would vote for 2? Only people that have, are just messing around....I hope.
