Add American Wedding to my list. It was pretty good, very funny. It kinda took a while to come together, but I liked the ending. B+ :)

X2- I really liked and it was one I could take the kids to go see without worrying about commanding "earmuffs" constantly throughout. Great story, great acting and awesome special effects equal an A+.

Matrix- I was seriously disappointed in this movie, but maybe because the first was so good, my expectations were way to high. The chase on the freeway was one of the best action sequences ever.

Finding Nemo- I had to take my kids to see it and I surprisingly liked it. Not bad for a kids movie, even though I agree that Toy Story and Monsters Inc were funnier.

Otherwise, I didn't see any of the others listed. I'm really looking to the Return of the King, that's going to be a great movie, since the other two do what is one of the greatest stories ever the appropriate justice. And I'm looking forward to seeing that guy who plays Anakin on Star Wars getting tossed into liquid hot mag-ma (insert Dr. Evil quote here). It is always more fun when evil triumphs, even if it is temporarily.

Where do you watch movies for $3.75? The cheapest matinees that I can find are $6.00...

Well Tinsletown in the Woodlands has early movies for $4.50, sometimes AMC in Deerbrook will have $3.75, but sadly I think they have went to $4.50 also for the matinee.

A full price is running about $7 around here.

Cinemark Hollywood 20 at Pasadena Blvd and Beltway 8 has 'em for $3 even during the day.

The AMC by 45 and the Beltway is a rapist.

Thanks for the tip! Those are cheap prices. (relatively speaking) The AMC30 on Dunvale is $6.00 for matinee and student. $8.00 for full price. The Edwards Cinema near Greenway Plaza is even more expensive and they don't accept student ID, plus $1 for parking.
