TS Grace formed this morning if you all weren't paying attention... They are expecting up to 10+ inches of rain from this gal, Houston/Galveston on DIRTY SIDE. National Weather Service says we will be in for heavy rain for 2-4 days.
Yup. Looks like it will be a decent sized TS when it makes landfall tomorrow afternoon probably just about Claudette hit - Port Arthur area. We will definitely get wet in this one since tropical storms aren't as tightly packed as hurricanes and this one is moving to the north rather than to the west like Claudette did. Looks like a wet and stormy Labor Day. Interesting because the Farmer's Almanac predicted tropical weather along the Texas/Louisiana coast the first week of September. Damn accurate!
Hmmm, thanks for the update. My cable has been out since Friday night and I hadn't even thought to check weather.com. Did this just form overnight?
