Had tickets for that cancelled Boston show. Managed to catch Duke Fame at the Enormodome instead.

There's a 27 spefillion percent chance I'm watching this opening day in the theater.

Fran Drescher returning as Bobbi Flekman? You know, you know, you know....

    The Boston gig got canceled?

I wouldn't worry about it. It's not a big college town.

    "Why New Orleans?"

    "There was a cancellation."

Really excited for this. Spinal Tap was a staple of my youth as it was for pretty much every musician ever. Can't wait to see all the cameos and low-key references to the first movie.

They need a bit to compete with the "These ones go to 11" on the amp bit.

I was thinking they could do a bit on EverTune bridge systems on electric guitars that never let the guitar go out of tune as it basically has a separate tension system for each string versus one tension system for all strings.

The bit would be the band guitar player going "These other guitars over here...they go out of tune. This one here...never goes out of tune!". Then, he picks up the guitar and starts demonstrating "you see...I can bend the strings, pull the strings, put pressure on the neck...and you see...I play an open E chord and guitar is still in tune. Like, if my guitar tech over there is giving me a differently tuned guitar for a new song were about to play with this bridge tension system...he can just toss me the guitar no problem and no matter how I catch it...still in tune. Look...I'll show you!". He then picks up the guitar, throws it in the air at his guitar tech standing ten feet away, the guitar misses the guitar tech, and crashes down on the stage. He then says "you were supposed to catch it, mate!". The guitar tech then retrieves the guitar and brings it back to him. The band guitar player then starts saying before he actually has guitar in hand, "You see...the guitar is still perfectly in...". Then, he realizes the neck is split in half and goes "well...right...still in tune (when he bends the neck back best he can and replays the open E chord)".

As a guitar player, I would find that funny if they got the comedic timing right on.
