Or they like his policy positions, track record, leadership style, character, honesty and message. Ever thought of that?

Where does it say he will cut military funding and only redistribute it to the vets?

    You said that twice

SDI does not give the military any needed capability at all and SHOULD be cut. Obama plans only to slow development of the "Future Development System," so as far as I am concerned, there is no scaling back of anything.

In one speech, he outlined a couple of specific military programs, one to be cut and one whose development will be slowed down.

On his website, he outlines a number of increases that will benefit veterans.

If that doesn't add up for you, I can find you a math tutor.

At least you've dropped your nonsensical pretense of simply being interested in learning the facts.

Well this thread influenced me to go read Obama's website 'issues' section again, took quite awhile, I didn't get through all of it since I only had lunch time but I could not find one thing I agreed with so far.

The only other candidates that I disagree with more strongly are McCain and Hillary.

Obama may be the lesser of 3 really bad options but I stopped voting that way thanks to President Bush.

Friend of mine was in Alabama this week and saw the following bumpersticker:

I guess all presidents do this, but I get a sick feeling in my gut when one man can define whats violating "our" constitution or not.

If hell freezes over this year I hope that he has a few more people around the table helping him in making these kinds of decisions.

I personally think it sucks that one man can write an order that violates the Constitution and get away with it.

Executive orders are not laws, they are internal operating procedures. It's not like they can be used to authorize illegal wiretapping or anything...

    Oh, wait...

makes you wonder what all those other countries in the world are gonna do to.

maybe they will start taking all there citizens rights away and going against what there coutnry has always stood for. and start attacking multiple countries and threatning others.

    sounds like utopia
