most of these guys are addicted to pain pills. They have some serious abuse on their bodies and unlike a pro sport they have no real medical staff so they just pass around pain meds. Use turns to abuse then you are gone.
The number of early deaths among professional wrestlers is ridiculous. Not only are steroids and pain killers abused, but illegal drugs and alcohol as well. The WWE and other wrestling promotions really need to change their culture.
Oh snap. This was the guy that was dating Stacy Kiebler. He used to one of my favorite characters as well, back when I was watching wrestling. R.I.P.
Ah another victim of the "i before e except after c" rule. Stacy Keibler How many will we have to lose before we all collectively promise to never repeat it?
I'm not saying you're wrong, but names don't always follow spelling convention... This really stunned me. Honestly, I knew the guy had to be doping, but seriously I never thought it would end him. That's just sad.
To be honest, I didn't even bother googling to make sure it was correct. Not sure why it matters much anyways.
I don't following wrestling anymore, but TNA > WWE. I saw a few mins of Impact...TNA is pretty much all the old stars from WCW and WWF.
And thats a good thing? I tried watching TNA, just can't get into it. Its even more corny than WWE. Their creative writing is just horrible. The only guys that make really good money are the "top guys" in the WWE. Maybe two or three guys are making a cool mil a year. Basically, if you aren't in the WWE or even TNA, you're wrestling because you love the art, its definitely not for the money.
Why does money have to justify a career choice? I don't think you can put a price on doing something you truly enjoy.
Many of them truly enjoy it, and if they hit it big there is decent to very good pay in it for them. A lot of them don't have other skills to market either. However, I think you'll stop seeing a lot of talent into the business now that my generation is already at the age to enter. The money that's in it and the grandeur associated with it are nothing compared to what they were as recently as 5 years ago, so the appeal will start to fall off.
wasnt Test going to be one of the next big things in WWF. when i used to watch back in high school i remember some story with him and stephanie mcmahon getting married and triple h ruining everything. sucks that it happened but i didnt really expect it from him. he was a really tall guy and big but not really freakishly big like some of the other wrestlers. RIP
He broke in when HHH was on the rise and HHH really believed there couldn't be more than one guy with the long blonde hair look at the top, so he fought really hard to keep Test and Jericho from the top.
The problem with the WWE for example is they work a terrible 250 out of a year schedule which they are all on the road. Combine this with our medical system treat injuries with pain killer and the fact that these athleagues are alays trying to stay in the ring so they gont become irrelevent this is the effect of it. These deaths started when wreasteling became so major, which is why I come to this theroy
Ah man I remember Test from way back He used to Tag team with some guy and had a chick for "manager" I think The last I remember was his partner and the girl betraying him and saying they got tired of carrying him or something Then I kind stopped watching wrestling....ahh highschool
It doesn't matter unless your post sounds like ****. Some can't pass the opportunity to correct a spelling error though (must be a pet peeve or something).
