So you believe Hezbollah is trustworthy? come again?.... :D

O yeah, a rebuttal on your crank-yanker point:

Despite an agreement to stop airstrikes for 48 hours, Israel dropped bombs in southern Lebanon on Monday. (O you were right,...woe me,..BU WAIT LOOKIE he he...:) )

In its agreement, Israel had reserved the right to hit targets that it considered an immediate threat.
But the Israeli army said Monday's strikes near the Lebanese village of Tayba were meant to protect ground forces operating in the border area and were not aimed at specific targets.

I predict that ROXRAN will continue to be wrong and declare victory regardless, and I predict people will continue to make the mistake of taking him seriously.

did i say they were? i dont trust israel either, though.

so what - bottom line is they broke their own cease fire. you neocons will make excuses for anything

my point regarding your "prediction" is that you are not qualified to make it, as you obviously are not following whats going on over there all that closely.

Actually, the statement on myself "not being sure" where you got that from was due to the fact I realized Israel had valid reasoning and my asking was with the hopes you could invalidate this to which you did not...

How were they bombing for their own troops immediate safety when Hezbollah wasn't breaking the cease-fire and bombing. If they aren't bombing the Israeli troops aren't in immediate danger, so the Israeli bombing was indeed a violation of the cease fire.

Israel had field intelligence which depicted a threat and in the usage of such bombing as protection warrants the counter of an immediate threat although specific targets were not the aim...This aspect and reasoning was well within the language of the reserved agreement...

I explained and addressed this already, :

Actually, the statement on myself "not being sure" where you got that from was due to the fact I realized Israel had valid reasoning and my asking was with the hopes you could invalidate this to which you did not...

Unless the intel had specific information there wasn't any need to bomb. If they did have specific intel, then why didn't they bomb those specific targets?

If they had intel of a general danger, then other precautions rather than just general bombing a Lebanese city which violates the cease-fire were in order.

Make excuses for them all you want, but they did violate the cease-fire.

    LOL!

Sam, how is your Turkish expedition going? Let us know in the other thread whenever you get a chance.

Stay safe, and as far away from Kurdish areas as you can...

It is ok, it's actually kind of boring and very hot which is why I have slummed my way into tormenting ROXRAN via blackberry which amazingly works here from the top of a rock in Cappadocia, lol.

The turks are all right but everybody assumes I'm turkish so nobody goes out of the way to help me.

I saw some cool stuff though, the cave cities of cappadocia are neat and the monuments of istanbul are neat; the tomb/mausoleum of the mevlana, a sufi superstar is also pretty cool. The food is also excellent. Turkish meatballs (kofte) might be my new favorite food. Awesome.

ROXRAN should declare war on Blackeberry, then, those fascist bastards!

Good, just don't bring up the Armenian genocide and you should be OK...

I envy you...And yes, Koftes are some of my favorite food as well, I believe there are some places around Houston that have it.

Israel didn't seem to care too much about them. At times they even stopped mentioning them as the put into place their long planned war coordinatd with the Bush warmongers.

Maybe now they can exchange their prisoners for the Hezbollahs prisoners as Israel has done before.

Bombing a specified area for protection against bodily threat is an exact precaution which Israel had reserved the right to hit since it considered the specified area in question an immediate threat, and that is the basis of reasoning which lends the reservation criteria...

No excuses, but a basis of reasoning which allowed Israel to utilize it's ability within the agreement.
