I do. I'm going to try to stay on meds for 7 days. the original sick feeling before i was on drugs is gone, but it's replace by antibiotic side effects. both suck. maybe i have a low threshold of pain or that I'm old. I don't wish this crap on anyone, even the posters who hate me!

So i need to conclude this thread. After 2 weeks of antibiotics, and a root canal. I'm better. The moral of the story?? take care of your teeth and your oral surgeon knows more than your dentist. i saw 2 dentists who said my tooth was fine. the oral surgeon rooted my tooth and said it was definitely infected. and i get a shiny new crown out of this!
Sounds like the same thing I had. I had facial and head pain and saw a doctor. He concluded it was trigeminal neuralagia which, I guess is something 100 year old grannies usually get. I saw a dentist thinking it may be a tooth even though my teeth really weren't hurting. The xrays showed nothing obvious, but the dentist tapped some teeth (which still didn't cause that much pain) and guessed it was a particular molar and suggested a root canal and crown. That fixed the ridiculous pain. Awesome dentist.
