walker is not better than francis, imo. anyways he's ranked as the third best point guard which seems about right. hopefully this time next year he'll be in the top 10.

cuttino could probably move ahead of a couple guys but since this is the first time someone did their homework and actually included him, i'll definitely take it.

Stats are so pointless, when comparing 2 players from totally different teams.

If Finley had the ball in his hands as much as Cat does, his stats would be better. End of argument.

Not really... His teams have always been bad/underachieved. And he plays no defense at all.

Wells and Rip are equal to Cat. They are both in the 2nd tier category of SGs. There are tons of SGs who are equal to Cat, and the players mentioned above.

He's off choking in the playoffs, not playing defense, and shooting 40%.

There are five players on that list that you can not even make a case for being placed ahead of Cuttino Mobley:

    1. M.J. is past his prime and can't keep up with Cat on his best day and Cat's worst day.

    2. Ben Wallace is a defensive specialist and liability on offense. Cat is great on offense and at least avg if not better than avg on defense.

    3. Richard Hamilton, OMG someone please tell me who woke up and decided that Richard Hamilton was in Cat's class as a basketball player? Is Hamilton even a top 50 player? I doubt it.

    4. Rashard Lewis, O.K. can anyone give me just one year that Rashard was better than Cat? Rashard's best year is not as good as Cat's second best year. Cat is superior to Rashard so far. People should stop placing Rashard above Cat based on potential. A person can't even make a case for Rashard being better than Cat.

    5. Jerry Stackhouse is possibly the most overrated player of all time. Any player that scores over 20 points a game but only shoots 40% from the field is hurting his team. Stacks defense is no better than Cats and his offense sucks! Stack should be riding the pine.

There is the five people that you can't even make a case for being as good as Cat. Four of those players might not even be top fifty players anymore if they ever were (Jordan, Hamilton, Wallace and Stackhouse).

Other players that I can make a case for not being any better than Cat if not as good are:

    1. Jalen Rose
    2. Latrell Sprewell
    3. Sam Cassell
    4. Jamal Mashburn
    5. Karl Malone
    6. Ray Allen
    7. Michael Finley

Naw, you're out od line for saying Cat is better than "The Mailman". The 2nd leading scorer of all-time.

I hate to point this out but MF does handle the rock a lot up here in Dallas. As a matter of fact he handles it a ton and Finley is nowhere near as versatile as Cat. Every year Finley gets ripped by the media and fans because he does not like to take the ball to the rim. Last year a lot of fans and the media were even talking about trading him after he got hurt because he does not like to take the ball to the rim and when his mid range jump shot is not working he can be shut down and becomes a burden on the team.

Cat has a good shot from the outside and is better than Finley at taking it to the rim and he likes taking it to the rim. The only thing that Finley does better than Cat is stroke the mid range jumper. BTW Cats little mid range pull jumper was much improved over the second half of the season last year and was just as good as MF's. Cat's D is just as good as Finley's and Cat (while playing on two bad wheels for half of the year) had a better year than Finley did last year.

It’s easier to shut down Finley than it is to shut down Cat. There is no way I would trade Cat for Finley.

Maybe you should re-evaluate your argument.

How am I out of line? Are we talking about all time or right now. Give me the Mail Man of 94 over Cat but not the Mail Man of 2002. Following your logic then Dream is better than Cat right now. My argument it that Cat is just as good as Karl Malone is right now.

BigM already posted that he is Number 13 on the list. Which is probably where he deserves to be.

Why are you even arging with kidrock? We all know he has to hate on every single Rocket and come to the defense of every single non-Rocket.

He is 10 times worse then Dakota and ZRB ever were.

Tino is about 10 spots too low. He's better than Cassell, Jordan, Hamilton, finley, rose at least. Raef LaFrentz has NO business being on that list btw.
