Political Correctness has jumped the shark http://content.usatoday.com/communi...-team-cougars-because-it-offends-some-women/1
Finishes on a strong note too... Spoiler "Instead, they'll be known as the Chargers. Unless, of course, someone decides that would be offensive to people who use credit cards." lmao

lol, I was a middle school Cougar from 89-91 and just yesterday I was doing a google search for a "cougar logo" for a middle school basketball jersey order, except I only put "cougar" into the image search, and the results were interesting to say the least... did USA today read this from the Onion and share it? I can't believe a community (in Utah no less) is capitulating to a group of hypothetical older women who "might be offended". the school board didn't think this one through or the article is poorly written. it shouldn't be for the fact that the women would be offended, but that the team would face ridicule or be the subject of taunting and photoshoppery. think about the Cougars
Utah. Am I the only one that thinks there was a Utah Ute/anti-BYU story here that's not being reported?
