I always use Homemade Vanilla when making malts at home, or floats. For that, it is the best. The "super premiums" just don't have the right flavor. One of my favorite malts? A banana malt. Homemade Vanilla, maybe half a banana, chopped, and a couple of tablespoons of Carnation Malted Milk, which stays a little crunchy in the malt. Run in the blender, but not so much that the banana doesn't keep some little chunks. Superb!
I would suggest shopping around then. Eating Pecans n Pralines by BB is like eating vanilla ice cream with a singular pecan in it.
exactly... same goes for their cookies and cream. there might be 2 cookeis in it meanwhile, this premium stuff is loaded...
i hate it when an icecream is "loaded" with crap so that it's more filler than actually icecream. Then again, i just like good flavored ice cream and not necessarily chunks of other some candy.
Haagen Dazs "5" ice cream is amazing, in our household's opinion. Ginger, Coffee, Brown Sugar.....all simple but outstanding. Evan
A pint of Blue Bell cookies n cream is the only thing I would buy at the local grocery shop. Outside of that, nothing is even remotely similar to BR. They are in a class all by themselves.
Duh. Of course there are 2 only. That is the MAXIMUM and MINIMUM to not be named "cookie and cream" sir. Also: THAT's WHAT SHE SAID.
it's not an acquired taste... it's the 3rd best selling ice cream in the country een though it;s only distributed in 16 southern states for a reason, and it isn't b/c it sucks. blue bells cookies and cream and coffee and peppermint ice creams are straight from the heavens
Ben and jerrys fresh is awesome. The pints from the grocery or gas station though suck ass. And anyone that hates on Blue Bell hates freedom.
