Ariza for Gibson doesn't make sense at all. Lose our starting 3, our only good wing defender, and add a 4th guy to play the "big" spot? Sounds dumb to me.

Ennis + 2nd round picks for Richaun Holmes

He has been productive in his limited minutes and is an high energy guy who can finish at the rim and protect the paint. Also, he is still on his rookie deal for 2 more years after this year season.

Noel would probably want a max this summer which the Rockets may be hesitant to match and Okafor is too much of a defensive liability. I think Holmes is the one we should be going after but 76ers probably have no incentive to trade him.

 

A KJ and PJ Tucker swat would also be great at this point.

 

I wonder what DM thinks of Boban? Enough to give Detroit PBev and Capela? And then add Jimmer.

 

Not a chance, they like him a lot, not even sure they would trade him for a good 1st...unfortunately.

 

According to my math, the filler of Ennis / McDaniels makes it possible to pick up a player making 7.7m in salary. Toss in Decker and you can get it up too 10.2m. By adding Decker, you are down to only one SF in Ariza, so doesn't make much sense to toss him in for a big.

This effectively takes us out of the running for Gallo, Chandler, Bogut, Dwill, and some of the other names.

Nothing immediately comes to mind as far as follow up trades.

We do need a follow-up trade. We probably won't make it out of the first round without another big. Our possible opponents eat our lunch in that regard.

No idea what we do at this point. Could go for an Anderson backup (Ilyasova or Morotic) or an Ariza backup (Tucker or Sefolosha).

Don't see a big....of course that probably means we are about to trade for Boban.

 

wasn't it you that didn't want to trade KJ because he was our next best 3/defender after Ariza? Well if so, this will be a great way for KJ to prove his worth.
